Cosmetic laser
For those unaesthetic fine red veins that respond to no other treatment, the right laser can often provide a definitive solution. For more than 10 years we have used this method with good results. Usually two sessions are required for a satisfactory outcome. If necessary, the skin is rubbed with a numbing cream on beforehand.
Sometimes there are not purely cosmetic complaints and these "birch branches" and ‘spider veins’ are only the visible part of an underlying deeper varicose problem. These will then have to be treated first. Thanks to our many years of experience, this laser treatment is absolutely safe and there are no annoying side effects, except for a temporary redness of the skin. However, you should follow our advices (in particular regarding sun exposure).

The best treatment for facial couperose (rosacea, see photos below) is with our cosmatic laser. Benign pigment spots can also be treated safely with the laser. For spider veins on the legs, sclerotherapy, sometimes combined with laser, is preferred. Important technological advances have made the introduction of the medical laser treatment into the field of phlebology possible.
